from www.Octave.com:

DVD CD Knowledge Center "Launching Web Sites automatically from a CD"

Last month we showed you how to make an Autorun CD. Click here

The catch is the method shown does not work for non-executable files like HTML, MP3 , PDF, DOC, TXT, BMP, JPG…

To launch a web file we suggest the following options:

1 - In the AUTORUN.INF file type:

[autorun]
open=explorer.exe index.htm (or whatever the name of your file is which should be in the root directory of the CD)

Pro: - Free
Con: Cannot be certain that it will work on all PCs. The "explorer.exe" may not be in the root directory of the hard drive.

2 - Try starterfile. click here

Pro: Works well
Con: Cost money

3 - Try WinOpen. Click here

Pro: Works well & free
Con: May be buggy
