In addition, we've added some of our favorites. (Note: These keyboard shortcuts work on Windows, OS/2, and UNIX. In most cases for the Macintosh, use COMMAND instead of CTRL.)
- Press CTRL+M to create an e-mail from anywhere in Notes.
- To access action buttons on the action bar, press Alt+<Number> where <Number> is the position of the action button on the bar going from left to right. For example, when creating a new memo in R5, the first action on the action bar is "Send." You can access this action by pressing ALT+1.

- To get to the next parent document in a view, press SHIFT+ENTER. Then, press SHIFT+BACKSPACE to get to the previous parent document.
- To access the Properties infobox, press ALT+ENTER. Then, press it again to close the infobox.
- To cycle through open Notes windows, press CTRL+TAB or CTRL+F6.
- Press F9 to update all fields in the current document, update the contents of a view, or update the unread markers on the workspace.
- While viewing documents, press SHIFT+F9 to rebuild the current view, and SHIFT+CTRL+F9 to refresh views in the current database.

- To see the hidden views in a database, press CTRL+SHIFT while opening the database.
