Testing Archiving to make sure email is being archived into the appropriate folder
Create a new folder
Open your mail database, click on
F
older
from the
C
reate
pull-down menu
Follow the necessary steps to finish creating the new folder
Take any email you don't need to leave in your active mail db and drag it into the new folder
Open the new folder by clicking on it and select the document you just moved by clicking on it once

hive/
S
elected Documents
from the
A
ctions
pull-down menu
Your computer will think about it for a few seconds, and the document should disappear unless there is a response to it present elsewhere in your mail database
Open your Mail Archive database

The link is underneath the
All Documents
view

Expand the
Tools
section under
Folders
, expand
Archive
and select
Archive
Verify that the new folder was created and the document you just archived is in it. Clicking on the link in your mail database ensures that you are looking in the correct archive database that you mail file has been configured to use.
